So this is my first book that i've read written by Diana and i'm very satisfied with the results. I didn't fall in love with it, but I did fall in love with Nic (sexy male lead who has just been added onto my ever-growing list of book boyfriends). I'll get to him in just a second.

So this is my first book that i've read written by Diana and i'm very satisfied with the results. I didn't fall in love with it, but I did fall in love with Nic (sexy male lead who has just been added onto my ever-growing list of book boyfriends). I'll get to him in just a second.
The story mainly focuses on Emily, who lost her fiance in a car crash which she believes that she caused (but the reader is lead early on in the book that this isn't so). The crash not only has destroyed her, but her brother and her best friend as well.
Two years pass and Emily's doing slightly better. This is where we meet Nic. Nic is a mechanic with a past. Nothing too big, just your typical parents-who-don't-approve-of-your-dream conflict. Nic is just...oh how do I explain him. He's got that "bad-boy" image but when he expresses his love for Emily, good god, the things that flow out from his mouth.
"I'm a slave of your beauty. What are you doing to me, Ems?"
"I haven't done anything yet."
"I haven't done anything yet."
"Oh, man, I can't image what will happen to me when you actually start doing something then. I already feel like i'm losing my mind, and I'm shaking from the mere thought of being inside you again, from the thought of feeling you taking me fully in, with your legs wrapped around me and your nails digging into my skin."
The chemistry and passion between the two was off the charts. I kept sighing every time those two were together. I love these two together. Nic healed Em from her loss. Nic never took anything from Emily, instead, he gave her the one thing he had, his heart and his love for her. I really like how this book didn't have that cliffhanger where one of the characters is found "cheating" or becoming a serious bitch/jerk. It was almost...refreshing. As for the two other character, Daniel and Kassie?
They have their own love story (which i'm about to read) and the book goes over quite some significant moments. Kassie ended up losing her memory, which included forgetting what happened to her brother and her attraction towards Daniel. This took a huge toll over Daniel. Oh goodness I can't wait to hear about their story!!
