Imogen Gorecki has a problem—her twin sister just got engaged, and guess who’s the best man? That’s right, her scum-of-an-ex-boyfriend whom she caught cheating with a bottle-blonde, with fake breasts and a stripper’s flexibility. There’s a disturbing possibility her eyes will never recover.
Gen needs a date for the engagement party, but finding Mr. Perfect in a time crunch is proving impossible. Just when she’s about to give up, she face-plants into the crotch of the sexiest guy she’s ever met.

Matt Sesnick is everything Gen wants in a man —except he’s not interested in a relationship. Can she convince Matt to take another shot at love, or will Gen’s pregnant, hormonal older sister, her bridezilla twin, and all of her past Mr. Wrongs get in the way of their happily-ever-after?

Review:
I really enjoyed reading this book. Another Shot at Love was one my highly anticipated to-read novel when I first heard about it months later after the release.

This book had it all, a pregnant, hormonal older sister, a bridezilla twin, a sexy, sweet male lead, and Imogen.

Imogen is a lovely character, except when her white lies lose control. I can’t blame her though, her older sister has horrible taste in men to set Gen with.

And Matt.

Oh Matt, I loved how he just went along with the situation he was put it. Not a single awkward part in his actions and handled Gen and her family with confidence.

Now besides the romance and sex that this book contained, it was the humor genre that won me over, which is surprisingly because usually, it’s the romance.

I FREAKING loved the banter between the three Gorecki sisters had to offer. Like:
“I don’t know what Cat’s talking about. She’s been a little whacko lately.”
“What?” Catherine asked. “You were on a date with him last night.”
“Mmm…don’t think so. Richard is just a guy. A guy who Cat set me up with. And who, by the way, made me pay for his dinner. That is not a date…and he picks his nose.”
Mom screwed up her nose up in distaste. “Catherine, you set your sister up with a nose picker?”
“I did not! Richard doesn’t pick his nose.”
“Do
you
know Richard personally, Cat? Or did you just see him walking down the hall at work and decide, ‘hey, he’d be perfect for Gen,’ because a stranger is better than nobody at all?”

See what I mean? And that’s 1/8 of the comedic moments. Just, perfection!
