BEYOND THESE WALLS:
Happily ever after.
That was what we were supposed to have.
Pudding cups, sandy toes and a lifetime of making each and every one of our dreams come true—that is the future I’d promised her.
I could see it in my dreams, hold it in my hands, but then I watched as all of our hopes and wishes suddenly slipped through my fingers like sand.
I thought the worst was behind us, but what if we’d just delayed the inevitable?
They say love can overcome any obstacle. But can it survive death?
The breathtaking love story of Lailah and Jude concludes in Beyond These Walls.

Review - 5/5 Stars!
When I found out that J.L. Berg was writing a sequel to Within these Walls, I knew I just had to geteverything I had hoped the sequel would contain. Especially the wedding vows scene. That part, god, it touched the inner-most part of my soul (and I did shed a couple of tears). You get a glimpse at Jude's life...as a business man. And we thought Jude looked amazing in scrubs, well, suited Jude is even better. I remember as Lailah (god I love her name, even as my spell-check indicator is highlighting her name) was crossing off her list, I grabbed my PB of Within these Walls and marked them in my head. By seeing and doing that, I truly got to understand how sentimental and wonderful it was to cross yet another thing off her list.

Yes, there are more passionate scenes, and more sex (before any of you dare to ask me). They are just as magnificent and wondrous as they were in the first (okay, maybe a bit better than that). As the dedication states: "For everyone who loved Jude and Lailah too much to let go—this one is for you."
I've been re-reading this book whenever I can (next to Kissing Madeline by Lex Martin) and I am dying to get my hands on the paperback (and I will get it).
